Advertising Disclosure

Updated August 2026

This site is free to read because companies pay us for referrals. Here’s exactly how that works, so you can judge our content knowing where the money comes from.

How we’re paid

Our revenue, in plain terms
Pay-per-callWhen you call a tracked number on this site, we may be paid a fee by the ignition interlock provider or the network that routes the call — whether or not you buy anything.
Insurance leadsWhen you submit an SR-22 quote request through our links, we may be paid by the quote platform, carrier, or agency that receives it.
Affiliate linksSome outbound links to providers are affiliate links that pay us if you sign up.
You pay nothingUsing our numbers or links never costs you more. Provider pricing is the same either way.
⚠ PartnersName your actual networks and partners here once the deals are signed (e.g. the call network and the SR-22 lead program). Generic disclosure is weaker than named disclosure.

What the button colors mean

Green = call a providerConnects you to a state-approved interlock provider or its call center. We may earn a referral fee for the call.
Blue = insurance quoteSends you to an SR-22 quote partner. We may earn a fee for the quote request.

Links that aren’t green or blue — state agency pages, statutes, our own guides — pay us nothing. Official source links are always to the state’s own website.

What compensation does not do

Compensation has no influence on our rankings, ratings, comparison winners, or the facts we publish about state law and costs. We list every provider a state has approved, including ones we earn nothing from, because omitting them would make the page inaccurate. We publish criticisms of providers who pay us. See our editorial policy for the criteria we actually use.

Where compensation does show up: a call button can only appear next to a provider we have a referral relationship with. If a provider is state-approved but we have no relationship, it still appears in our tables — just without a call button. We’d rather you see the full list.

Not a provider, not an agency

We don’t sell, install, service, or remove interlock devices, and we don’t sell insurance. Any contract, price, or coverage is between you and that company. Prices we publish are researched ranges, not offers.

Calls may be tracked

The numbers here are tracked so partners can verify the calls they pay for. When you call, we can see your number, the time, the call length, and the page you called from; the receiving company may record the call under its own policy. Details are in our privacy policy.

Why we tell you this

The FTC requires clear disclosure of material connections between a publisher and the companies it recommends, and we think it’s the right thing to do besides. You’ll find a short version of this disclosure at the bottom of every page that carries a call or quote button, plus a link back to this page.
